CNN Cover Diveheart

CNN producer Bill Kirkos interview Diveheart diver David Smolka who is totally blind but is an avid diver through the Diveheart program.   CNN will be breaking their story about Diveheart in mid February in conjunction with a feature story about Diveheart in Money Magazine,  which also comes out mid month.

 Samantha Smolka, Dave’s daughter, is also visually impaired and tells the CNN news team about her moving scuba experience and how she will eventually become totally blind like her father and what it means to her to be able to scuba dive with him.

Miami Herald Covers Diveheart's Pegasus Experience

DMW (Diveheart Military Wounded) brought Rodriguez, who sustained a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) in 2007, to Key Largo as part of an experiment and demonstration of the UPV for the Miami Herald reporter.

Money Magazine Covers Diveheart in its March Issue

NEDSRA Offers Scuba Program

Northeast DuPage Special Recreation Association once again offers a Discover Scuba Program for its participants.

Mike K gets instructions from his instructor Roger.  Mike thoroughly enjoyed his first scuba experience and can't wait to go to the quarry this summer.
