It is the Diveheart vision to convert sedentary time into productive time for people with disabilities. Imagine if we could create a passion for diving in those with disabilities and focus that on our planets problems beneath the waves….like coral destruction, over fishing and shark fining. It would be a win/win…for the individual l, the community and the planet

Diveheart and FKCC are collaborating to encourage more divers with disabilities to continue their dive education and pursue careers in related areas such as oceanography & marine sciences.
Diveheart discover scuba program for children with autism and their siblings
Thanks to the generosity of Army veteran Lita Thomas, who has opened up her home and her pool, Diveheart is able to offer more Discover Scuba programs to children, adults, and veterans with disabilties.

Diveheart's ICRE Divers Supported by Dreams For Kids
Dreams for Kids teams up with the Chicago Blackhawks Charities to continue support for ICRE (Illinois Center For Rehabilitation and Education) kids and their Diveheart scuba adventure activities.

A big thanks to Diveheart volunteers, veterans, parents, participants, Haigh Quarry (www.haighquarry.com) owner Tina Haigh and picnic coordinator Dave Zigman for another incredibly successful event…. The group photo shows only about half of the group attending the event. The rest were in the water diving.
